AT&T

AT&T’s 2G (GSM/GPRS/EDGE) and 3G (UMTS/HSPA) networks run on the same frequencies, both 800 MHz and 1900 MHz. These frequencies are the standard ones used in North America. Signal boosters that can amplify both of these standard frequencies are referred to as “dual-band” and are ideal for improving your AT&T reception. AT&T’s LTE network uses the newly available 700 MHz spectrum, specifically 698 to 746 MHz. This slice of spectrum was previously used by analog broadcast television, but now is used for the AT&T high speed data network. If you would like to boost this network in addition to the 2G and 3G networks, then you'll need one of the tri-band or five band boosters.
